You can not update: the old Radeon RX 580 was compared to the new RX 6500 XT in games

The authors of the Benchmark channel found out what is better for modern games: RX 6500 XT or RadeonRX580.

In an edition on the Benchmark YouTube channel, experts compared two graphics cards in seven modern games in 1080p resolution. These are RX 6500 XT and Radeon RX 580.

In Resident Evil Village on high settings you get an average of 66 fps (with RX 6500 XT) and 72 fps (RX 580).

Far Cry 6 launched with a high preset. Average frame rates for this game were 70 fps and 64,5 fps (with RX 6500 XT and RX 580).

Cyberpunk 2077 came with mediocre graphics. The average performance here was 46,5 fps (RX 6500 XT) and 49 fps (RX 580).

On the Stray at high preset, average frame rates were 45,5 fps and 44,5 fps (RX 6500 XT and RX 580).

Horizon Zero Dawn came withriginal graphics. Average FPS here was 47,5 fps (with RX 6500 XT) and 58 fps (Radeon RX 580).

Borderlands 3 ran on high graphics settings. Average performance in this game was 54 fps with the RX 6500 XT and 51 fps with the RX 580.

We managed to average 61 fps (RX 6500 XT) and 59 fps (RX 580) in Watch Dogs Legion with high presets.

It is difficult to name a clear winner. The point is that in some games the RX 6500 XT led in terms of average performance, and in some games the Radeon RX 580 led. RX 580 (56 fps vs 57 fps).
