ASUS Radeon ROG-STRIX-RX6800-O16G-GAMING
ROG Strix Radeon RX 6800 combines a leading cooling solution with high performance and a number of practical functions. Under the hood there is a massive passive radiator, cooled three Axial-tech fans, which use a new rotation scheme and different operation of the center and edge fans. A full range of features include a dual BIOS switch, 0dB mode, FanConect PWM headers and a metal back plate.

Axial-tech enhancements
The design of the Axial-tech fans was optimized for larger passive heatsink, which offers more ribbing and a larger surface area than the previous generation. The number of blades has been increased for all three fans: 13 for the central one and 11 for the peripheral ones. The barrier ring on the edge fans has been narrowed to allow better lateral suction and providing better airflow through the passive cooler. Multiple central fan blades and a full-width ring provide improved static pressure, to blast air directly onto the GPU heatsink. Its direction of rotation was extra reversed to reduce turbulence inside the cooler.
2,9-slot design
The heat distributor conducts the heat to the heatpipes, which carry it through the fins, the dimensions of which occupy 2,9-slot. It provides an increase in the passive cooler compared to the previous generation more cooling performance for the new high performance chipset.
FanConnect II
The back of the ROG Strix graphics cards is equipped with two PWM FanConnect headers, which provide added flexibility for PC builders. Case fans can be connected directly to the graphics card and tuned with a curve that is based on CPU or GPU temperature. It thus provides extra suction or extraction of air for demanding 3D tasks.
Functional front
Great attention was paid front side of the graphics card, as it is the most visible part of the card in a typical configuration. New addressable RGB element can be customized with software Armory Crate, to create a unified look with other ROG components. To meet the power requirements of the GeForce RTX 3070, they are on the card two 8-pin connectors, along with a built-in circuit that monitors PSU voltage. The circuit is fast enough to pick up any transients that might cause the voltage to drop too much. When this happens, a red LED will light up to indicate a power supply problem. It can also be seen here reinforced metal frame, which provides a literal layer of resilience.
GPU Tweak II
ASUS GPU Tweak II brings graphics card tuning to a new level. It allows you to modify critical parameters including GPU frequencies, memory frequency and voltage with options real time monitoring, through a customizable on-screen interface. Advanced fan control is also included, along with a host of other features to help you get the most out of your graphics card.
AMD Infinity Cache
AMD RDNA 2 architecture is even more efficient than ever with the introduction AMD Infinity Cache. A whole new level of cache that enables high-throughput performance with low power consumption and low responsiveness. This global cache is accessible to the entire graphics core and thus enables immediate access to data.
