New firmware for Asic devices KS1 and KS2

As reported, the firmware is already publicly available.

Earlier it was reported that the firmware for the nova appeared on the Internet Asic devices that work to support the network Kaspa (kHeavyHash).

The new firmware increased the computing power of low-cost devices IceRiver K from the declared 100 GH per second to 155-160 GH per second. It was recently published that Chinese specialists managed to increase the performance of even more powerful devices from the company IceRiver.

The masters from China offer a 25% increase in performance Asic mining machines KS1 and KS2. With the updated firmware, these devices achieve speeds of 1,25 and 2,5 TH per second, while the manufacturer stated 1 and 2 TH per second respectively. With this increase in power, the power consumption rises to 900 W for the KS1 and 1600 W for the KS2.

A Chinese expert offers this service for 1000 Kaspa coins for KS1 and 1600 coins for KS2.

However, we have received information that the firmware for these devices is freely available on GitHub.

To date, it has achieved a record for the total computing power of the network Kaspa more than 33 PH per second, but with this news in mind, we can expect another rapid increase in performance soon.
