Fortnite Battle Royale can be played solo or in small groups (4 players max). The player can decide whether he wants to play Solo (1 player), Duo (2 players) or Squad (4 players). However, the goal of each game mode is to be the last one out of 100 players alive. At the beginning of the game, 100 players are dropped from a flying bus onto a map with randomly generated weapons, potions and other equipment. Over time, the safe zone shrinks and players outside this zone (around storm) they take damage (they may even die). Thus, the surviving players are pushed into smaller and smaller spaces and are forced to clash. Players can take equipment from defeated enemies.

Warzone has two basic game modes: Battle Royale and Plunder. [5] It is the second major battle royale installment in the Call of Duty game franchise, following the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (2018). Warzone differs from Black Ops 4 in that it reduces the reliance on equippable gadgets and instead encourages the accumulation of a new in-game currency called Cash. Warzone supports up to 150 players in a single match, surpassing the typical 100 player size seen in other battle royale titles.

Apex Legends je battle royale a game that borrows the FPS concept that takes place 30 years after the events of Titanfall 2. Apex Legends differs from most battle royale games in that it features legends (predefined heroes with unique abilities that fall into roles such as attack, defense, support a survey). Players play in groups of two or three, each player choosing a unique one at the beginning Legend. In each match there are up to 20 teams.
