SSD and memory prices will rise soon
While European graphics card prices are gradually falling to the recommended levels, the head of Micron states that the prices of some other PC components may, on the contrary, rise. In an interview with Fox Business, he said that there are components that will improve in shortage during 2022, but there are also some that will be missing in 2023. He also clarified that Micron is making every possible effort to improve the situation, but all their measures take time.
Earlier, Jensen Huang and Lisa Su reported that the chip shortage situation will improve significantly in the second half of 2022, but Micron's boss has a different take on the matter. He agrees that there is definitely an improvement, but don't get too excited and memory and SSD prices could still go up in the future.
