This version will be more advanced with factory overclocking.
Gigabyte recently released four GAMING models based on Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800 XT cards: all these models look practically identical and can be purchased with optional factory overclocking. However, there have been no updates since mid-2022, after the release of the Radeon RX 6000 series. After a long time, the manufacturer announced that it is preparing a completely new version of the Radeon RX 6800 XT.
According to the Videocardz portal, employees already have photos of the same Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC PRO, which has not yet been presented on Gigabyte's official website. The dimensions of the PRO version differ from the original version, which have increased from 28,6 cm to 33 cm. Further examination of the graphics card images revealed that the Radeon RX 6800 XT uses the same heatsink as the Radeon RX 6950XT Gaming - Gigabyte's fan-powered RDNA2 flagship desktop model. The PRO model differs from the original version not only in the placement of the HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a connectors, but also in the third unusual 8-pin power connector.
Although the technical specifications of the new graphics card are not yet fully confirmed, its clock frequency is expected to be higher than 2285 MHz.
