Great news for many customers.
The recently launched NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 gaming graphics card seems to have been received rather coolly by potential customers, as indicated by the price drop of several models that appeared on store shelves just a few days ago.
According to VideoCardz’ source, Polish retailer KR System has reduced the price of Palit’s GeForce RTX 4070 Dual, equipped with two fans, a full-coverage back panel, an 8-pin connector for additional power and a small LED strip, but without factory overclocking, to PLN 2913 (~14878k).
However, after a few hours, the price of the card in this store increased to 3099 zlotys (~15828 czk), but it is still less than the recommended price, which in Poland is 3199 zlotys (~16339 czk). In addition, according to Ceneo data, in the price lists of several other Polish retailers you can find a pair of GeForce RTX 4070 for the price of 2999 zlotys (~15318 czk): the aforementioned model from Palit, and also the Inno3D GeForce RTX 4070 TWIN X2, equipped with two fans and an 8-pin connector for additional power supply, which, like the “colleague”, works at standard frequencies.
According to information from TechPowerUp, the staff of the UK retailer Novatech also suddenly decided to increase the price for our old friend Palit GeForce RTX 4070 Dual: if the model was offered a while ago for 550 British pounds (~14650 czk), within a short time its price increased to 580 British pounds (~14650 czk), which, however, still remains below the recommended price of 589 British pounds (~15688 czk). It remains to be hoped that domestic stores will join the move and lower the prices of the GeForce RTX 4070 to please potential customers.
