According to a well-known ECSM insider, unlocked versions of Raptor Lake Refresh processors are expected to come to market in October this year, followed by locked versions of Raptor Lake in November and December.
An updated version of Sapphire Rapids Xeon processors is expected to be launched in early 2024. As for the all-new Meteor Lake-H family processors, we’ll have to wait until Q4 2024. Meteor Lake-S processors have been cancelled and we should see Arrow Lake-S processors in their place in late 2024 or early 2025.
Raptor Lake refresh processors will be compatible with existing motherboards with LGA1700 socket, but future releases will require new motherboards with new socket(s).
