Software giant Microsoft has released the latest update for Windows 10 version 21H2 and reminded that from 13. June no longer supports this version.
This means it won’t get monthly updates with security improvements, bug fixes and other changes. Those running Windows 10 version 21H2 are advised to upgrade to the latest version of “10” – 22H2 – as soon as possible to ensure their systems are protected and up-to-date.
At the same time, Microsoft stressed that support for this version will continue only until October 2025. That’s why the company recommends moving straight to Windows 11. Microsoft launched Windows 10 21H2 alongside the first release of Windows 11 in the autumn of 2021. To date, it is the most popular and stable version of Windows.
According to AdDuplex, as of early 2023, about 35% of users worldwide were using it. The company has also added support for RAR archives at the system level. This means that users will no longer need to install third-party applications, such as WinRAR, to extract or compress files. And by the way, Windows 12 is coming out next year, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence and hardware and software optimization. In terms of design, Windows 12 will be even more like macOS.
