Miner hosting in the USA

The United States has one of the largest power systems in the world, and bitcoin mining is an established industry there. Most electricity comes from gas-fired power plants that benefit from cheap domestic natural gas, complemented by nuclear, wind, hydro and solar. Large customers with round-the-clock consumption get industrial tariffs that are far lower than household prices in Europe.

Mining data centres are located in areas with surplus capacity and good grid connections. The result is a stable power supply and high uptime.

Cooling in the USA depends on the specific hall: in some, miners are air-cooled with forced ventilation, others have water (Hydro) cooling circuits, and in some the machines are cooled by immersion in a special fluid (immersion cooling).

That is why both standard air-cooled miners and Hydro machines can go to the USA. Where exactly your miner goes depends on its cooling type and on free capacity. Immersion cooling is only for new miners bought from us; we do not accept customers’ own machines for immersion – for larger quantities we can agree on an individual arrangement. The choice of model is therefore mostly about the balance of price, hashrate and consumption.

With a moderately low electricity price, new and efficient models pay off: they have a long service life ahead and can cope with future growth in network difficulty. Below are the four miners that pay back fastest at today’s price in the USA.

Both tariffs run at the same facility with the same uptime of up to 99.54 %. The only difference is how you pay:

• USA – lower price per kWh, one-time installation fee depending on the machine type. Pays off if you let the miner run for a long time.
• USA – no service fees – no installation fee, but a higher price per kWh. Suits you if you want to start with the lowest possible upfront amount or plan a shorter run.

You pay for the electricity the miner uses. The price per kWh already includes management of the machine, excludes VAT and is the same for companies and private customers. Shipping to the data centre and customs depending on the location are one-off costs in both tariffs; you will see the exact amount in the hosting order before you pay.

New miners bought from us carry a 7-year warranty for as long as they run on our hosting. The miner mines on our pool and you send payouts to your own wallet.

You can buy a miner straight onto hosting: on any ASIC miner in our shop, choose On our hosting under “Where the miner will run”. The price is excluding VAT and the machine is shipped insured directly to the data centre – it is not delivered to your home.
