Setting up a wallet and storing it safely

We'll show you how to set up your own crypto wallet – on your phone, your computer or a hardware wallet –, how to back up your recovery phrase properly and how to protect yourself against phishing and scams. You always keep your recovery phrase yourself and never share it with anyone – not even with us.

Buying and selling cryptocurrencies

We'll explain how buying and selling crypto works, what to watch out for and how to spot a suspicious offer. You can buy or sell bitcoin for cash at the Bitcoin ATM right in our shop, and we exchange other cryptocurrencies in person – see Crypto exchange. What and when to buy or sell is always your decision.

Mining and choosing an ASIC miner

We'll go through how mining works, which ASIC miner suits which cryptocurrency, how much electricity it uses, how loud it is and what cooling and connection it needs. You can do an indicative calculation in the mining calculator, and you'll find an overview of miners on the ASIC miner profitability page. The calculations are indicative only and are not a guarantee of returns.

Miner hosting

No space at home, unsuitable electricity, or bothered by the noise? We'll explain how ASIC miner hosting in data centres works – what you pay for, how the miner is installed and how you monitor its operation.

Taxes

We only discuss taxes on cryptocurrencies and mining in general terms. For your specific situation, we recommend consulting a tax adviser.
