PC Praha 55 Soundproof Box

A smaller and cheaper soundproof enclosure made in-house by PC Praha. It quietens an Antminer S19-class miner from roughly 80 dB to around 55 dB. Ideal for a garage, workshop, technical room or garden shed.

Key features

  • With an Antminer S19 it reduces noise from about 80 dB to around 55 dB.
  • 4 layers of different sound-absorbing materials, no mineral wool – no smell and no harmful emissions.
  • Separate cold and hot zones: the chips do not overheat and the fans are not overloaded.
  • Warm air exits vertically upwards.
  • The miner stands on an anti-vibration pad.
  • Heat can be ducted away – we offer an adapter for 160–220 mm round ducting.

Box 55 or box 40?

Box 55 has a smaller footprint (45 × 45 cm) and is cheaper. However, it dampens less: you will hear the miner roughly like a louder conversation. For a flat or an office we recommend the PC Praha 40 Soundproof Box, which brings the miner down to the level of a fridge (around 36 dB).
