PC Praha 40 Soundproof Box (white)
A soundproof enclosure made in-house by PC Praha for home mining. It quietens an Antminer S19-class miner from roughly 80 dB to around 36 dB – the level of a fridge – without overheating it.
Key features
- Noise reduction of up to 40 dB; with an Antminer S19 the room stays at around 36 dB.
- 4 layers of different sound-absorbing materials, no mineral wool – no smell and no harmful emissions.
- Weighing around 50 kg, it dampens high tones (whining) as well as low frequencies below 1,500 Hz.
- Separate cold and hot zones: the chips do not overheat and the fans are not overloaded.
- Warm air exits vertically upwards, so you can comfortably stand or sit next to the box.
- The miner stands on an anti-vibration pad, which spares both the fans and the hashboards.
- Heat can be ducted out of the room – we offer an adapter for 160–220 mm round ducting.
Who it is for
For mining in a flat, an office or the hallway of a family house, where a standard ASIC miner would be disturbing. The boxes differ only in the interior fittings for a specific model – if you change your miner later, you do not need to buy a new box.
