Description

Goldshell AE MAX is an ASIC miner for mining Aleo (ALEO) on the zkSNARK algorithm. A hashrate of 360 MH/s at 3300 W corresponds to an efficiency of around 9.2 J/MH.

It is the first generation of Goldshell Aleo miners; its successor is the AE MAX II (540 MH/s, approx. 5.9 J/MH). Because of its noise and power draw, the AE MAX belongs in a technical room or a data centre.

Setup guide

We will set it up for you free of charge. Send us your wallet address and the miner will mine for you alone. If you do not have a wallet yet, we will help you create one.

Setting up a Goldshell miner
  1. Check the miner after unpacking. Its appearance, the fan and the sounds at start-up. If anything is wrong, take a photo and contact us or Goldshell support.
  2. Prepare the power supply. Use the recommended Goldshell PSU – a standard ATX PSU may shorten the miner’s lifespan. BOX II models need two 6-pin connectors, the BOX one. Always connect the cables before switching on.
  3. Connect the network. Connect the network cable to your router, then switch the miner on. After the self-test the red light goes out and the green one stays on.
  4. Find the miner. At find.goldshell.com you will see all the miners on your network; click one to open its control panel.
  5. Unlock the miner. Click Unlock in the top right-hand corner and enter the default password 123456789.
  6. Add a pool. In the Miner menu click Add, enter the pool address, the username (your pool account or sub-account) and a password, e.g. x. Click Apply and wait until the pool turns green.
  7. Choose a mode. In the Miner menu you can switch between Hashrate Mode and the energy-saving Low-power Mode.
