Description

The Goldshell SC6 SE is an ASIC miner for the Blake2b-Sia algorithm from the manufacturer Goldshell. At 17 TH/s it draws roughly 3,330 W (195.9 J/TH). Originally a Siacoin machine – today it can also mine BTCB2 (Bitcoin BLAKE2b, a 2026 fork of Bitcoin). Switching between coins is just a matter of pool settings.

Key features

  • 17 TH/s on Blake2b-Sia – mines BTCB2 or Siacoin, whichever is more profitable at the moment.
  • 195.9 J/TH – efficiency is how miners are compared: it decides how much of the revenue is eaten by electricity.
  • Noise level around 80 dB – a machine for a workshop, garage, technical room or data centre.

Things to keep in mind

BTCB2 is a young network: both difficulty and price can change quickly. The calculator on this page shows the current earnings based on today’s data – treat it as an estimate, not a promise.

Setup guide

We will set it up for you free of charge. Send us your wallet address and the miner will mine for you alone. If you do not have a wallet yet, we will help you create one.

Setting up a Goldshell miner
  1. Check the miner after unpacking. Its appearance, the fan and the sounds at start-up. If anything is wrong, take a photo and contact us or Goldshell support.
  2. Prepare the power supply. Use the recommended Goldshell PSU – a standard ATX PSU may shorten the miner’s lifespan. BOX II models need two 6-pin connectors, the BOX one. Always connect the cables before switching on.
  3. Connect the network. Connect the network cable to your router, then switch the miner on. After the self-test the red light goes out and the green one stays on.
  4. Find the miner. At find.goldshell.com you will see all the miners on your network; click one to open its control panel.
  5. Unlock the miner. Click Unlock in the top right-hand corner and enter the default password 123456789.
  6. Add a pool. In the Miner menu click Add, enter the pool address, the username (your pool account or sub-account) and a password, e.g. x. Click Apply and wait until the pool turns green.
  7. Choose a mode. In the Miner menu you can switch between Hashrate Mode and the energy-saving Low-power Mode.
