Description

Dimensions: 370 × 130 × 380 mmWeight: 8.0 kg

The XCLAW Lobster X9 is a Bitcoin miner designed for the home. At 70 TH/s (±5%) it draws roughly 1,450 W, i.e. approx. 20.7 J/TH. Special quiet air cooling keeps the noise level at around 52 dB.

Key features

  • 70 TH/s on SHA-256 – mines Bitcoin (BTC), also Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV.
  • 20.7 J/TH – efficiency comparable to current-generation home miners.
  • Noise around 52 dB – quieter than ordinary industrial ASICs.
  • Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, dimensions 370 × 130 × 380 mm, weight approx. 8 kg.

Who it is for

For mining Bitcoin at home without a dedicated technical room. The heat from the miner (approx. 1.45 kW) will help with heating in winter. It is also suitable for solo mining as a “lottery” for a whole block – treat it as a game, not as income.

Good to know

XCLAW is a newer brand without a long track record on the market, and the manufacturer offers a shorter factory warranty (6 months) than established manufacturers. If you have a question about operation or service, get in touch with us before ordering.

Operation and installation

All you need is a socket on a dedicated circuit breaker and an internet connection – 1.45 kW is a continuous load. Setup via the web interface. You can work out the current estimated earnings in the calculator on this page.

Setup guide

We will set it up for you free of charge. Send us your wallet address and the miner will mine for you alone. If you do not have a wallet yet, we will help you create one.

How to set up an ASIC miner
  1. Connect the network first, then the power. Connect the miner to your router with a network cable, on the same network as your computer. Only then switch it on.
  2. Find the IP address. You can find it in your router’s list of devices or with the manufacturer’s tool.
  3. Log in. Enter the IP address in your browser. The default username and password are in the manufacturer’s manual – we will gladly send it to you.
  4. Set up the pool. Enter the pool address in the form stratum+tcp://…; as the Worker, enter your pool account name or wallet address, a full stop and the machine name, and x as the password. Save.
  5. Check that it is mining. After a few minutes the miner will start mining. You can check the hashrate on the pool’s website.
