Terms and conditions

Effective from 19 October 2026. Applies to purchases in the online shop at www.pcpraha.cz.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1 The online shop pcpraha.cz is operated by Kentino s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 05066743, VAT number (DIČ) CZ05066743, with its registered office at Čestmírova 1358/25, 140 00 Praha 4, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 257790 (the “seller” or “we”).

1.2 Shop and service centre: Rostovská 260/2b, 101 00 Praha 10 – Vršovice, open Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00. Phone +420 792 480 835, email info@pcpraha.cz. For specific matters you can write directly to:

  • orders, quotes and purchases for companies: obchod@pcpraha.cz,
  • claims, withdrawal from the contract and complaints: reklamace@pcpraha.cz,
  • service and repairs: servis@pcpraha.cz,
  • miner hosting: hosting@pcpraha.cz,
  • invoices and accounting: fakturace@pcpraha.cz.

Further contact details can be found on the Contact page.

1.3 These general terms and conditions (the “terms”) govern the rights and obligations between us and the buyer when purchasing goods through our online shop under Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (the “Civil Code”), and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.

1.4 The buyer may be:

  • a consumer – a person who buys outside their business activity or profession,
  • a business – anyone who buys in the course of their business activity (typically stating a company ID or VAT number in the order). Article 11 also applies to businesses.

1.5 Arrangements in an individual purchase contract (e.g. in a confirmed quote or a supply contract) take precedence over these terms.

1.6 Miner hosting and the cryptocurrency exchange are governed by separate terms, which you will receive before concluding the contract for the service concerned. These terms apply to them only where they expressly say so. The hosting service is provided by a company based in the USA, and hosting prices are therefore quoted without VAT for all customers. The basic rules for repairs in our service centre (diagnostics, warranty on replaced parts, handover report) are set out in Article 10 of the claims policy.

1.7 The terms and the purchase contract are in Czech. Where a translation of the terms into another language is available, the Czech version prevails in the event of any conflict.

2. Customer account

2.1 You can shop with registration (customer account) or without it. In your account you can see your orders and details.

2.2 When registering and ordering, provide true and complete information and update it if it changes. Protect access to your account and do not allow third parties to use it.

2.3 We may close your account if you have not used it for more than 12 months or if you seriously breach these terms. The account may not be available without interruption, in particular due to system maintenance.

3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

3.1 Goods presented in the shop do not constitute a binding offer. Section 1732(2) of the Civil Code does not apply.

3.2 You create an order by adding goods to the basket, filling in your details and choosing the delivery and payment method. Before submitting, you can check and correct your order. You submit the order using the button at checkout whose wording clearly indicates the obligation to pay.

3.3 We will confirm acceptance of your order by email. The purchase contract is concluded when this confirmation is delivered.

3.4 For unusual orders (a large number of units, a high amount, shipping abroad) we may ask you to confirm the order additionally, for example by phone. Without such confirmation we may decline the order.

3.5 If goods are listed at an obviously incorrect price (for example due to a technical error), we are not obliged to supply them at that price. We will notify you and offer the correct price; if you do not agree, we will cancel the order and refund everything you have paid.

3.6 You bear the costs of distance communication (internet, phone) yourself; they are no higher than the standard rate.

3.7 We archive the purchase contract in electronic form. You will receive the order confirmation together with these terms by email.

4. Prices and discounts

4.1 Prices are stated including VAT and all charges connected with the purchase. Shipping and payment costs are added to the price according to the chosen method, and you can see them in the basket before submitting your order.

4.2 You can display prices on our website for reference in Czech crowns, euros or US dollars. At checkout the order is charged in Czech crowns, or in euros for delivery to another EU country. The binding price is the price in the currency shown at checkout when you submit your order.

4.3 Prices of ASIC miners may change frequently in line with manufacturers' prices and the market. The price displayed at the moment your order is submitted applies to your order.

4.4 Where we state a discount, we also state the previous price next to the discounted price, i.e. the lowest price at which we offered the goods in the 30 days before the discount (Section 12a of the Consumer Protection Act). Discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise for the promotion.

5. Payment

5.1 You can pay by bank transfer, in cryptocurrency or in cash at our shop. Card payment is being prepared; as soon as it is available, you will see it at checkout. The payment methods available for your order and any fees will be shown at checkout before you submit your order; an overview is also on the Shipping and payment page.

5.2 When paying in cash at our shop, the price is due on collection of the goods. For cashless payment, it is due within 14 days of conclusion of the contract; we dispatch the goods once the payment has been credited to our account.

5.3 Bank transfer. Send the payment to the account in the order currency and state the variable symbol (order number); for payments from abroad, state the order number in the message for the recipient. The accounts are held with Fio banka:

  • CZK: account no. 2300998633 / 2010, IBAN CZ19 2010 0000 0023 0099 8633, BIC/SWIFT FIOBCZPPXXX,
  • EUR: account no. 2901366893 / 2010, IBAN CZ54 2010 0000 0029 0136 6893, BIC/SWIFT FIOBCZPPXXX,
  • USD: account no. 2402233228 / 2010, IBAN CZ48 2010 0000 0024 0223 3228, BIC/SWIFT FIOBCZPPXXX (payment in USD must be agreed in advance).

Cryptocurrency. We accept USDT on the Tron network (TRC20) at the address TQHXen3KLNz9KmoFCXBWPgQtdjwzFLHh5z and USDC on the Ethereum network (ERC20) at the address 0xdcA507EA7B6c6D5bEbA4E202d1af6d6C8fD59fCa. We will confirm the exchange rate and the amount due in your order; the confirmed rate is valid for 12 hours, or up to 24 hours by arrangement. Send the payment only via the network stated; funds sent via a different network will be lost and we are not liable for such a loss.

Payment is made when the amount is credited to our account, or for cryptocurrency, when it is credited to the stated address.

5.4 Particularly for more expensive goods, we may require payment of the full price before dispatch. Section 2119(1) of the Civil Code does not apply.

5.5 We will send you the invoice (tax document) by email.

Pre-orders and deposits

5.6 We sell some ASIC miners as pre-orders – we do not yet have the goods in stock and order them from the manufacturer. Such goods always show the estimated delivery or restocking date.

5.7 For a pre-order you can choose:

  • payment of the full price upfront, or
  • a deposit of 50% of the price, if this option is offered for the goods. The price of the goods when paying a deposit is approximately 2% higher than when paying the full price upfront, because we finance part of the price with the manufacturer until the balance is paid. You can see both prices on the product page and at checkout before submitting your order. If you choose the deposit, the order shows the full price (including the surcharge), of which you pay a 50% deposit by bank transfer or in cryptocurrency.

Pay the deposit within 3 working days of the order confirmation. The rest of the price is due before the goods are dispatched, within 7 days of our request for payment of the balance, which we will send you by email.

Non-payment of the balance. If you do not pay the rest of the price even within an additional reasonable period that we grant you, we may withdraw from the contract. At your choice, we will then offer you another machine worth the amount already paid, or refund your deposit minus the costs we actually incurred in connection with the cancellation of the order; we will provide evidence of their amount. We do not demand any contractual penalty or other fee beyond these actual costs.

5.8 The delivery date for a pre-order depends on the manufacturer. We wait until the manufacturer builds and ships the machine. If production or shipping at the manufacturer is delayed, the delivery period is extended by the length of that delay; we will inform you of the new date without undue delay. This does not affect your rights in the event of the seller's delay under the Civil Code or your rights as a consumer under Article 7.

6. Shipping and delivery

6.1 You can collect the goods at our shop at Rostovská 260/2b, Praha 10, or we will send them by courier – within the Czech Republic via UPS or PPL, to Slovakia and other EU countries via UPS or DPD. Parcels are always insured. In Prague (postcodes 1xx xx) we also offer delivery within 24 hours. You will see the shipping cost for your order in the basket before submitting your order. Shipping to the EU costs from CZK 590 depending on the parcel weight and the country (neighbouring countries / other EU countries); the exact price is shown at checkout. For parcels over 100 kg, shipping outside the EU and larger deliveries (e.g. several miners, soundproof boxes or containers) we will make you an individual offer. An overview is on the Shipping and payment page.

6.2 Unless agreed otherwise, we dispatch goods in stock or prepare them for collection without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days of conclusion of the contract. For pre-orders, the date stated for the goods applies.

6.3 For collection in person, we will invite you by email to collect your order. We hold the order for you for 5 working days; after that we will contact you and agree on how to proceed.

6.4 If we have to deliver the goods repeatedly or in a different way than stated in the order for reasons on your side, you will bear the related costs.

6.5 On receipt, check that the packaging of the parcel is not damaged. Record any damage with the driver in the carrier's report and let us know as soon as possible. You do not have to accept a parcel that shows signs of unauthorised opening. This does not affect your rights arising from defective performance.

6.6 Goods delivered directly to our hosting. If you buy an ASIC miner to be placed on our hosting, we will deliver it directly to the chosen data centre and inform you of its delivery by email. The operating conditions are governed by the hosting contract (see Hosting).

6.7 Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer upon payment of the full price and receipt of the goods.

7. Withdrawal from the contract (returning goods within 14 days)

Who can withdraw

7.1 If you are a consumer and bought the goods through the online shop (or otherwise at a distance, e.g. by email or phone), you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. If you ordered several items delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last delivery. You may also withdraw before receiving the goods.

7.2 An order placed through the online shop that you then collect in person at our shop is also a distance contract. In that case, you keep your right to withdraw within 14 days.

When you do not have the right to withdraw within 14 days

7.3 Purchases for a company. If you buy as a business – in the course of your business activity, typically stating a company ID in the order – you are not a consumer and you do not have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Your rights are governed by Article 11.

7.4 Purchases made directly in our shop. If you conclude the contract in person at our shop (you choose and buy the goods directly from us, not through the online shop), it is not a distance contract and no statutory right to withdraw within 14 days arises. If we nevertheless allow you to return goods at the shop, this is a voluntary goodwill gesture on our part.

7.5 Under the law (Section 1837 of the Civil Code) it is also not possible to withdraw from the contract for:

  • goods made to your specifications or adapted to your personal needs (e.g. a custom build, modification or conversion of a miner, a custom-made box or container),
  • goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market beyond our control (e.g. the purchase of cryptocurrencies),
  • goods in sealed packaging which cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once you have removed them from the packaging,
  • audio or video recordings or computer software, if you have broken their original packaging,
  • digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if its supply began with your express prior consent and after you were informed that you thereby lose the right to withdraw,
  • services that we have fully provided with your express consent before the end of the withdrawal period.

How to withdraw and return goods

7.6 It is sufficient to send us your withdrawal before the period expires – by email to reklamace@pcpraha.cz, by post to the address of our shop or registered office, or in person at our shop. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal by email.

7.7 Return the goods to us no later than 14 days after withdrawal – send them to our shop address Rostovská 260/2b, 101 00 Praha 10, or bring them in person. You bear the cost of returning the goods. For goods that cannot be sent by ordinary post because of their size or weight (e.g. containers, large water-cooling loops), we will tell you on request the estimated return costs before you submit your order.

7.8 We will refund your money within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, including delivery costs up to the amount of the cheapest delivery method we offer. We refund using the same method you used to pay, unless we agree otherwise and this does not cause you any additional costs. We are not obliged to refund you before you return the goods to us or prove that you have sent them.

Trying out the goods and reduction in their value

7.9 You are liable only for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling them in a way other than what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods, including their functionality (Section 1833 of the Civil Code). You may therefore handle the goods as you could in a bricks-and-mortar shop – unpack them, plug them in and try them out.

7.10 What this means for ASIC miners:

  • It is fine to plug the miner in, check that it starts and verify the hashrate, temperatures and noise level – as a guide, up to 24 hours of operation.
  • Long-term mining (running on a pool for several days) is normal use, not trying out. If you return such a miner, you are returning used goods and we are entitled to compensation for the reduction in its value. By reduction in value we mean the difference between the price of a new miner and the price at which it can be sold as used with a warranty.
  • Modifying the firmware or any other intervention in the device likewise reduces the value of the goods.

We may set off compensation for the reduction in value against the purchase price we refund to you. We will always document the condition of the returned goods – with a test report after the return, data from the firmware or pool (e.g. operating time) and photographs. If you disagree with our assessment, get in touch and we will find a solution.

7.11 A miner bought straight for our hosting. If you buy a miner to be placed on our hosting and ask us to start mining immediately after it is connected, the miner is used beyond trying out and point 7.10 applies. Hosting is a service: if you asked us to start providing it during the withdrawal period and then withdraw from the contract, you will pay a proportionate part of the price for the hosting provided up to the moment of withdrawal (Section 1834 of the Civil Code). We will agree with you individually on how to return a miner located in a data centre.

7.12 If we gave you a gift with the goods, the gift contract terminates if you withdraw from the purchase contract, and you should return the gift to us together with the goods.

8. Rights arising from defective performance (claims)

8.1 We are responsible for ensuring that the goods are free from defects on receipt – in particular that they match the description, have the agreed and usual characteristics, are fit for the purpose for which they are usually used, are supplied with accessories and instructions, and comply with legal regulations (Section 2161 of the Civil Code). For goods with digital elements (e.g. firmware), we will provide or arrange the necessary updates under Section 2161b.

8.2 A consumer may assert a defect if it appears within 24 months of receipt (commonly referred to as the “statutory warranty”). If the defect appears within the first year, the goods are presumed to have been defective already on receipt.

8.3 For used goods (e.g. from our used section) this period is reduced to 12 months; we also state this on the product page and in the order confirmation. We are not liable for wear corresponding to the degree of use the goods had on receipt.

8.4 The right arising from defective performance does not arise if you caused the defect yourself or if you knew about the defect and it was the reason for a lower price. Normal wear and tear caused by usual use is not a defect.

8.5 If the goods are defective, you may request a repair or delivery of new goods, unless this is impossible or disproportionately expensive. If we do not remedy the defect, refuse to remedy it, the defect recurs or it is substantial, you may request a reasonable discount or withdraw from the contract (Sections 2169–2171 of the Civil Code).

8.6 How and where to make a claim, how long it takes and what you need is described in our Claims policy.

9. Commercial 7-year warranty on ASIC miners on our hosting

9.1 For new ASIC miners bought from us and placed on our hosting, we provide a quality guarantee for a period of 7 years from receipt (Section 2113 et seq. and Section 2174a of the Civil Code). With this guarantee we undertake that the miner will be fit for its usual use during this period. The guarantor is Kentino s.r.o. This guarantee does not cover used miners or miners bought elsewhere.

9.2 The guarantee applies for the entire time the miner is placed on our hosting under a hosting contract, for a maximum of 7 years. If you decide to remove the miner from hosting or the hosting contract ends, the commercial guarantee ends. This does not in any way affect your statutory rights arising from defective performance under Article 8 (for consumers, 24 months from receipt), which continue to apply in full.

9.3 Under the guarantee we will remedy the defect at our expense, usually by repairing or replacing the defective part (e.g. a hashboard, power supply, fan or control board). You do not pay for parts, labour or related transport under the guarantee.

9.4 The guarantee applies without exceptions: it covers all defects of the miner that appear while it is placed on our hosting. We are responsible for the operation of the miner (power, cooling, environment) during this time.

9.5 You report a defect of a hosted miner by email to hosting@pcpraha.cz or by phone on +420 792 480 835. You do not send the miner anywhere; we carry out the repair on site in the data centre.

9.6 We will issue you a warranty certificate with the guarantee details in text form (by email) at the latest when you receive the miner.

9.7 This guarantee does not in any way limit your statutory rights arising from defective performance against us as the seller (Article 8). It is voluntary and we provide it over and above the law.

10. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution

10.1 We handle complaints at reklamace@pcpraha.cz or at our shop. We will send you our reply by email.

10.2 If you are a consumer and we fail to resolve a dispute by agreement, you may file a proposal for out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Central Inspectorate – ADR Department, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Praha 2, email adr@coi.gov.cz, website adr.coi.gov.cz. The procedure is free of charge for consumers.

10.3 Consumers from other EU countries may also contact the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic (www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz), which helps with cross-border disputes.

10.4 Supervision: the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (compliance with the Consumer Protection Act), the Office for Personal Data Protection (personal data), the trade licensing office (trade licence).

10.5 We are not bound by any code of conduct within the meaning of Section 1826(1)(e) of the Civil Code.

11. Purchases for companies (business buyers)

11.1 Provisions intended expressly for consumers – in particular withdrawal within 14 days (Article 7), the 24-month period and the presumption of a defect (Articles 8.2 and 8.3) and out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority – do not apply to business buyers. Rights arising from defects are governed by Sections 2099 to 2117 of the Civil Code.

11.2 A business buyer shall inspect the goods as soon as possible after receipt and notify us of a defect without undue delay after discovering it or after they could have discovered it during a timely inspection.

11.3 We provide business buyers with a quality guarantee of 24 months from receipt on new goods and 12 months on used goods, unless stated otherwise for the goods or on the invoice. The commercial guarantee under Article 9 also applies to businesses.

11.4 A business buyer assumes the risk of a change in circumstances (Section 1765(2) of the Civil Code).

11.5 VAT for companies from the EU: If you are a VAT payer registered in another EU member state, you state a valid VAT number in your order (verifiable in the VIES system) and we ship the goods to another member state, we invoice without Czech VAT and you account for the tax in your own country. Companies in the Czech Republic are invoiced with VAT, unless the law provides for the reverse charge.

11.6 Deposits for pre-orders for businesses may be subject to different terms agreed in the quote or contract.

12. Personal data, commercial communications and cookies

12.1 How we process personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

12.2 We send you commercial communications (newsletter) only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

12.3 We use cookies that are not necessary for the operation of the shop only with your consent, which you give or change in the consent bar on the website.

13. Final provisions

13.1 The contract is governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU country, you do not thereby lose the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country (Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation).

13.2 We may send documents to the email address stated in your order or account. Address for delivery of documents: Kentino s.r.o., Čestmírova 1358/25, 140 00 Praha 4; for returns and claims of goods: Rostovská 260/2b, 101 00 Praha 10 – Vršovice.

13.3 We may change these terms. The version in force on the day your order is submitted applies to your order.

13.4 If any provision is invalid or ineffective, the other provisions remain unaffected.

13.5 These terms are effective from 19 October 2026 and replace the terms and conditions dated 1 February 2023.
