Ethereum Classic miners (Etchash)

ASIC miners for Ethereum Classic (ETC), which is mined with the Etchash algorithm – a modified version of Ethash. Well-known machines include the Antminer E9 Pro and E11, iPollo V2 and Jasminer X16-Q.

We do not currently offer an Etchash model. Below you will find previously sold machines as archive cards with specifications and a contact form – we will check availability or suggest an alternative. Ethereum Classic can also be mined on graphics cards, see graphics card profitability.

How to choose a Ethereum Classic miner

First decide where the machine will run – that determines the cooling. For each type we show the machines from this collection that earn the most today from 1 kWh of electricity.

  • hosting, workshop

    Air-cooled

The most common and cheapest option: fans cool the machine, so it only needs a supply of cool air and a way to remove the heat. It is loud, though (usually 70–80 dB), so it does not belong in a flat – it suits our hosting, a workshop or a plant room, and at home only with a soundproof box.

4 models in this collection, most profitable per 1 kWh:

    How hosting works
  • quieter, heat for heating

    Hydro (water cooling)

A liquid in a closed loop cools the chips and a dry cooler or heat exchanger removes the heat. Hydro machines are quieter and more powerful, but they need a water loop and usually a three-phase supply. You can use the heat to warm water or for heating.

There are none in this collection right now. Write to us – we will check availability.

    Water loops for Hydro
  • farms, almost silent

    Immersion cooling

The machine is submerged in dielectric fluid in an immersion tank – it is almost silent and the chips stay at an even temperature. It needs a tank, a pump and a cooler, so it is best suited to farms and hosting.

Ethereum Classic miner comparison

Sorted from the most efficient – fewest joules per unit of hashrate. We recalculate revenue every hour, and profit using the electricity price selected above the miners: on hosting at 1.14 Kč/kWh.

Model Hashrate Power Efficiency Cooling Noise Price from Revenue / day Profit / day
Jasminer X44-P 23.4 GH/s 2,550 W 109 J/GH Air – from 246 330 Kč 207 Kč137 Kč
Bombax EZ100-PRO 15.5 GH/s 3,100 W 200 J/GH Air – from 48 446 Kč 137 Kč52.04 Kč

Jasminer X16-QE 1.85 GH/s 620 W 335 J/GH Air – from 21 512 Kč 16.34 Kč−0.63 Kč

Hashrate, power draw and noise are stated by the manufacturers. Efficiency = power draw ÷ hashrate. Revenue = hashrate × today’s revenue of the algorithm’s most profitable coin (before electricity and pool fees); profit = revenue − electricity at the selected price. For machines with several hashrate options we use the base hashrate from the product card.

At home or on our hosting?

The result of mining depends mainly on the electricity price. Comparison for the machine in this collection that earns the most per 1 kWh – Jasminer X44-P.

At home or at your business

  • Grid electricity costs a Czech household roughly 4.5–6.5 Kč/kWh (2026); it is cheaper from your own solar panels or on a business tariff.
  • A powerful ASIC needs its own circuit and ventilation, and you have to expect noise – air-cooled machines are usually 70–80 dB.
  • You can use the miner’s heat for heating, but in summer you have to get rid of it.

Profit at 4.5 Kč/kWh: −68.76 Kč / day

On our hosting

  • Electricity from 1.14 Kč/kWh including management (Nigeria #2), 7 locations with free capacity.
  • With prepaid electricity, up to 30% cheaper.
  • New miners bought from us that run on our hosting come with a 7-year warranty. We take care of noise, cooling and repairs.

Profit at 1.14 Kč/kWh: 137 Kč / day

Profit = today’s revenue − electricity for 24 hours, before pool fees. Network difficulty and the exchange rate change; this is neither a forecast nor a promise of revenue.

FAQ about Ethereum Classic miners

What is Ethereum Classic?

Ethereum Classic is the original Ethereum chain, which did not carry out the hard fork after The DAO affair in 2016 and stayed with mining (proof-of-work). Like Ethereum, it supports smart contracts.

What is the difference between Ethash and Etchash?

Etchash is Ethash with a modified calculation of the DAG data structure that the miner keeps in memory. Ethereum Classic introduced it in 2020 so that the DAG grows more slowly and older devices with less memory can keep mining for longer.

Which ASIC miners exist for ETC?

Etchash machines are made by Bitmain (Antminer E9 Pro, E11), iPollo and Jasminer. You will find their specifications in the archive cards below; we are happy to check current availability for you.

Can ETC be mined on graphics cards?

Yes, Etchash is memory-intensive and graphics cards can mine it. The page Graphics card profitability shows how much they earn today.

Will you let me know when an ETC miner is in stock?

Yes, write to us using the form above or on the Contact page. For archive models you can also set an availability alert directly on their card.

Ethereum Classic mining

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is the continuation of the original Ethereum. When Ethereum rewrote the chain's history after The DAO affair in 2016, part of the community stayed with the original rules. Ethereum later moved to proof-of-stake, but Ethereum Classic is still mined and is one of the largest proof-of-work networks with smart contracts.

ETC is mined with the Etchash algorithm, which is based on Ethash and works with a large data structure, the DAG, in the miner's memory. There are ASIC miners from Bitmain, iPollo and Jasminer for this algorithm, but graphics cards can mine ETC too. Hashrate is given in MH/s or GH/s, and both efficiency and memory size matter. The DAG grows with every epoch, so older machines with less memory gradually stop being sufficient – when buying a used Etchash ASIC, always check how long it will cope with the current DAG size.

We do not currently offer any Etchash ASICs – you can find the specifications of older machines in the historical models above. If you want to mine ETC on graphics cards, have a look at graphics card profitability; otherwise we will be happy to help you choose a miner for another coin.
